JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com. Regarding the consequence of the inquiry on Century Bank by the House that might lead to a reshuffling, PKS fraction stated that they're not worried about the rumors. They reasoned that the coalition by PKS was also a factor that contributed to the victory of SBY-Boediono during the elections, and that the coalition was for the sake of forming a clean government.
Fachri Hamzah, deputy secretary general of PKS at the House made the statement, Monday. He stated that the perception of coalition so far is misled. Coalition has been viewed as a form of charity from the bigger party to the smaller ones by granting positions as ministers and state officials.
"(Then the bigger political party stated) that we've granted four ministers, - well who is 'we' here? This is wrong. This is a cooperation. A political coalition, a parliamentary coalition, and finally it leads to the cabinet. It's cooperation, not charity!"
If charity were to motivation for coalition, he continued, then the coalition would've been disbanded since before. In fact, the coalition plaque states that the coalition is based on the vision to form a clean and transparent government and to extricate corruption.
"If not committed anymore, then the coalition is irrelevant."
